As a people called to flow in a prophetic voice, many times we fail and fall short in hearing His voice.
The word pf God says that His sheep know His voice and another they will not follow John 10:4-5. However, many times the failure is as simple as us allow ourselves to get too busy not spending time in the secret place, this hindering our familiarity with His voice.

4 And when he has brought out all his sheep, he walks ahead of them and they will follow him, for they are familiar with his voice. 5 But they will run away from strangers and never follow them because they know it’s the voice of a stranger.”
We must become a people of prayer! Ones that seek after His face and not looking to another. This even means not looking to ourselves for the answer. Yet instead, we must remove our opinion and listen and look for the answer in His word and from the Holy Spirit.
The lack of intimacy removes the proximity needed for us to properly embrace the calling of the father. When we do not hear the call, we isolate ourselves into a holding pattern that only He can help us remove. We must submit ourselves to Him and allow His voice to guide and comfort us.
When we do this, allowing God full control and leadership in our lives, we qualify ourselves to take part in the inheritances that only a son can enjoy. It is not that we do not have an inheritance without submission, we are just not positioned for it. God calls those who are led by His spirit His sons.

14 The mature children of God are those[a] who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit.
Any that don’t follow his ways and get caught up in darkness, he calls sons of darkness.

6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.
Let me encourage you today.
If you have been in a place where you are not in His light and have found yourself in darkness, take courage. He is sure and faithful to free you from any stronghold in your life if you call on His name.

13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Guys even if you know God but need to get back on the right track he is faithful and will answer of you call to Him.
Cry out to Him, not looking around to see who is looking. Just cry out to Him where you are. Reach out to Him in your heart, in your mind, even with your voice. Don’t give in to sorrow or heartache anymore, but let God be your light. Don’t allow disappointment to darken your view, instead look to His light and allow Him to change your perspective.

Lord, forgive me for allowing myself to get in the way. Align my path with your destiny you have for me. Guide my steps and show me the purpose you have for my life. Remove the blinders from my eyes and allow me to see through your eyes, the way you see things. Change my heart God to meet you where you are.
